When verifying out-of-network coverage with your insurance carrier, I recommend asking about the following CPT codes: • 90791: Assessment/Intake (First session only) • 90846: Couples/family therapy without *primary patient • 90847: Couples/family therapy with *primary patient • 90837: Individual therapy (Only used when meeting individually with the *patient)
